Doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Noam Shoval
I am a PhD student at The Department of Geography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
My thesis, “Urban Planning in the Era of Mobility”, proposes a new term for the people who visit a city: temporary citizens. This group is comprised of tourists, international businesspeople including digital nomads, and students. I propose to consider them as an integral part of the city’s users as citizens, and to take them into account in town planning. I believe that this can reduce the conflicts we now have between locals and visitors.
