This tour place on Friday 28.10.16 and covered the area of Abu Ghosh and Neve Ilan. It commemorated the end of Efrat Morin's term as Department Chair and her move to the Faculty of Earth Sciences. The tour began at the site of the church in Abu Ghosh where  Ronnie Ellenbloom demonstrated the contribution of  Historical Geography to the understand of the Crusader  period. This was followed by a series of short explanations  of the landscape from the  Neve Ilan vantage. Eran Feitelson, Noam Levin and Uri Dayan each demonstrated the planning, environmental and atmospheric significance of the location. Lunch was held at the Neve Ilan hotel  and included  wishes of success to Efrat  Morin and her successor, Danny Felsenstein.
