Pictures from the Mapathon event held yesterday in the Department of Geography. The students took part in a collaborative mapping project, which they must map through the OSM interface (OpenStreetMap) - an international collaborative mapping project, which is free to use. OSM data is used by individuals and organizations around the world, and can be used for a variety of social, environmental, and even life-saving purposes.
