My PhD research examines how Israel's market-led urban renewal initiatives affects the key stakeholders that are involved in its implementation: municipalities, real estate developers and communities. I assess the socio-spatial changes in post-renewal neighborhoods and explore how the role of different stakeholders has evolved in the twenty years since the inception of this policy. Results from my research have been published in Geoforum and other professional publications.

In both research and practice, I deal with the relationship between built environments and social processes. I work with communities and authorities across Israel, engaging residents in planning processes and promoting an equitable approach in the policy and practice.
