Dr. Hagit Keysar


I am a researcher and activist, working and teaching in the fields of science and technology studies (STS), critical geography and urbanism. My research and creative work focuses on the political potentials of community-driven science and technology for articulating rights in situations of conflict and colonisation. Areas of research: Critical data studies, feminist data, Citizen/Civic/Community Science, open source technologies, Do-It-Youself Science, politics of mass digitization in collections and archives, mass digitization globalism and de-colonialism, politics of urban planning, right to the city/urban displacement, smart city critique, technology and human rights.
